hi there... gots me an 88tc and I suspect the fuel delivery is ailing. here's what she does:
full throttle, like on an onramp, life is good until about 3 seconds into the joy, (in 4th or 5th) the torque flat-spots and she hesitates a bit. if I back off for a sec, then hit it again, she spools up and goes just fine. it seems to depend how long I'm on it. 1st thru 3rd I guess I don't notice it much because the tach swings and I'm off it to change gears. so...
do y'all think it's the pressure reg or the pickup pump or the main pump, or is it something else that's very difficult to repair, which for this car would be completely typical?
