I currently have only liability insurance on my car. Previously I had full coverage, but when I found out my insurance company thought my car was only worth $2100 I decided that was bullshit and removed full coverage. I have an '88 900T Convertible with 113K miles in really good shape (only minor flaws that you would normally get on a car this old). I would think I would easily get over $4k for it in its present condition. My insurance agent told me they would never pay out that much on that car. I find it very irritating. It bothers me that if I were to get into an accident and it wasn't my fault that I may find myself fighting another's insurance company over the same thing. It's funny how non-Saabers think that old cars aren't worth anything, they are sorely mistaken.
