Well, I think you've all convinced me to do my own oil change and that's what I plan on doing. I'll go pick up a case of oil, a couple filters, a drain pan, torque wrench and fliter wrench. I do a lot of stuff now in my ramp, but as I live in Milwaukee it's starting to get friggin' cold. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 48 so perhaps I'll try to get this tackled tomorrow. I'm not sure I'll have the time however. I look forward to January as it appears then I'll have underground heated parking. That should encourage me to do more DIY stuff during the winter. Thanks all.
Oh, one more thing. As I stated I have a 1988 Saab 900T Convertible with about 113K miles on it. I know oil choices were elaborated on, but what would be the best Mobil 1 oil for me to run in this car with winter fast approaching? Also, I think I should so some other winter maintenance such as flushing the radiator. Any other suggestions for things I might tackle before winter hits full on?
