I'v had the same problem and I found out that the power to my fuel pump was intermittant. I realised this because when it started to cut in and out offen I could hear the fuel pump shut off. Listen in the trunk compartment for a quiet buzzing nosie that is your fuel pump. If if stops for a seconed then comes back on that is probably your problem. (But don't go out and by a new fuel pump yet.) I couldn't track down why my power kept cutting in and out so I made a new power supply. I wired my fuel pump to my tail lights and that soulved the problem. The only down fall is that I have to keep my lights one while I'm driving the car, not to bad really. It also serves as a anti-theft mechanisum if I turn my light of when I leave my car. Sorry i can't tell you whats exactly wrong but mybe this will help for now.
