Have a '90 900t with 180k. Last two months has had a problem on start-up.I have to crank so much that when it does start it misses for a while because of all the fuel being dumped in the engine. It failed to start once and ended up with a new fuel pump and filter. Checked fuel pressure, 3bars, good. Have checked all the parts I can think of. Coil, new plugs and wires, checked throttle position switch, AIC, ignition amplifier, timming, new coolant temp sensor, tried a different AMM, seems everything is checking with proper voltage and resistance. I have spark, which is weird because if I have fuel it should light-up right? Is it too weak? Going to put a cap and rotor on today and cross my fingers. Also, I have a different ECU plugged in and I still have the same problem. When it starts I've, seriously, got a fast powerful runner. Anything I've overlooked or need to go deeper with? The car is awesome and too good to trash. Need any expert help I can get.
Thanks
Rob
