Hella 500 brackets - $3 each, DIY

Just finished mounting Hella 500's above bumper. (wish I had pics to post).
Easiest bracket fab job ever. Just went down to Ace Hardware, bought 8" (x1 1/8") zinc coated corner braces for $3 each, trimmed a few inches off one end, drilled three new holes, coated them black and bolted them to bumper with the same bolts as the fog light brackets (actually, replaced 'em with 35 mm long). They protrude through slit below the grill & sit just above bumper, just high enough to slip a hex nut under. (had to cut down the mount bolts supplied in kit). Just in the right spots to clear the hood mat when open too. Darn things are strong enough to stand on.
They are perfeeeeeect.
