why remove it?
air is moving through the tb so fast--and only a tiny fraction of that air comes in contact with the tb--that virtually no heat is gonna transfer. further, removing the coolant loop from the tb ain't gonna change the quantity of O2 sucked in at the air cleaner. so, even if the tb did, in fact, warm the air, you're still going to have the same quantity of O2 molecules.
in other words, it's a waste of time to remove the coolant loop; doing so will yield no difference in performance.
search the performance board for some calculations if you want the math; iirc kevin k did the numbers some time back. gist of it was the air was in/out of tb in 100th's of a second.
btw, the coolant is to keep the throttle from icing while driving at a constant throttle position. cool moist air on cold metal plate = ice = stuck throttle = not good. this is not a "only-in-sweden-where-it's-minus-30" kinda thing; can occur *above* 32 degrees in the right atmospheric conditions.
do a cursory search on google & it's not too hard to find info on recalls for such makes as honda, jaguar, et al, because of freezing issues. one site discusses a fatal racing accident attributed to throttle freezing during a race held in summer.
