I have had great luck with Eclipse. Eclipse decks are not detachable face so you do not have to worry about the faceplate problems you are experiencing. Instead of this they offer a theft protection guarantee which is good for up to 3 years! Their design also fits very well in the dash of a C900. Eclipse also stays away from the ugly flashy lights that Clarion, Sony as well as Pioneer seem to offer & keep the decks simply & clean. I would HIGHLY suggest at least looking into their decks which start at about $250 installed!!

Despite what others state, Alpine is another great alternative. My local shop where I get all my stuff sells Alpine, Eclipse, Pioneer, Sony and they swear by eclipse with Alpine being #2. This shop has dropped Blau a few years back for quality issues & are going to be dropping sony as well due to a pathetic service department which seems to be used pretty often according to them.
