83 900 battery drain

I have an '83 Saab 900 hatchback (3 -door). I am experiencing a dead battery after about 2-3
days of non-operation. I checked the current drain on the battery with the car off and the key
removed from the ignition, and all doors closed, accessories and lights off, etc. I am getting over
300mA of current draw under these conditions. Does this seem high? I would think it should be
a few milliamperes or less. The alternator voltage reads 13.78 Volts when the car is idling,
and the voltage at the batter under the same condition is 13.68 Volts. Do these numbers sound
right?
My next step will be to pull various fuses one at a time, and see if the current draw is eliminated.
I am guessing that there is a partial short somewhere. All electrical accessories appear to work
correctly when the car is running. The car starts just fine when not having sat for greater than about
2 days, otherwise the battery just goes dead and I have to jump it.
Any other ideas on how to proceed from here?
Thanks
John
