Unless your CV joint is really about to fall apart, vibration on accel is more likely to be a bad inner driver on the passenger side. Especially if the vibration subsides when you coast. The heat from the exhaust cooks the poor qual OEM grease in the driver and the tripod bearing whacks the driver surfaces. Get under the car and see if the axle slop is over near the transmission. If so, get a new driver or swap the drivers side to side.
If the CV joint is really sloppy, IMO it is easier to put in a new axle. Then you don't have to fiddle with the clip that holds the CVjoint onto the axle. Not really that hard but it takes a knack.
