You've probably taken out a few grounds. Make sure the grounds for each light cluster (front and rear)is in good shape, with a good electrical connection to chassis. Use a meter - don't trust the wire - under high current conditions, you could damage the wire and the insulation look OK, or at least in a few spots.
If you're missing one or more grounds, when you apply power to one bulb, instead of the current flowing to ground, if the ground is bad, that current then goes back up another bulb, on the way to finding ground. Bad grounds are the most typical reason for all lights on,.
There may be a fused relay in the brake light/turn signal paths. Troubleshooting that will take a schematic and time.
