OK guys, what do you think is up now. Two weeks ago, had my backyard mechanic replace the shocks, bearings, ball joints and complete axle assembly with tripods. Most of the vibrations was taken care of, but still there on acceleration. With help from archives and bulletin board, I realized that it was probably the Inner Driver's. So, I ordered the necessary parts and made an appointment at the local independent Saab specialist. By this time it was about 2 weeks after initial drivetrain repair and the vibration had started to disappear, it was less prevalent, I don't understand that.
Saab guy replaced complete Innerdriver's, seal's and bearings today. Called me said his mechanic finished it up and drove it around, ran great. I pick it up tonight and vibrates at all speeds during any acceleration, rumbles like I'm driving over a speed strip and was increasing the further I drove. Needless to say, I turned around and dropped it off. Keep in mind, I took my Bentley and the instructions from Twinsaabs to the mechanic "just in case". Any thoughts?
(Depressed in Michigan and $500 poorer!)
