Be careful not to bend. Place old nut on top of screw and partially twist down to hold nut in place and give you a bigger area to hit/persuade with a 2 or 5 pound hammer. Use a blowtorch to heat screw and break rust, but DO NOT heat spindle to red hot, as that will weaken the steel. Do all this in conjunction with the pickle-fork tool. On the http://www.twinsaabs.com site they mention how difficult the job can be when these things get stuck. They do eventually break free with the correct persuassion. Might be easier to remove entire unit from car and work on it indoors where it is more comfortable. (I live near you and it is about 10 below freezing). That will require you remove the axle bolt with a 32mm socket and a 4 foot helper pipe to fit over the end of your ratchet or breaker bar to increase your leverage. You will also need to remove brake calliper and rotor, which you might have done by now anyway.
The job can be annoying, but it is well worth it in the end. I usually have a friend assist me, and then assist him in fixing something else as a payback. 4 hands are better than 2.
