shifting troubles

I recently bought an '89 900 Turbo which has intermitent shifting problems. Sometimes it just doesn't want to go into any gear. Suspecting hydraulic problems, I replaced the clutch master cylinder and bled the system. No luck. Next I tried a new clutch disc and different slave cylinder. No luck. Next, I bled the system using pressure. No luck. I put the old clutch disc back in and replaced the pilot bearing. No luck. Even with the old (worn 1\2 way down) disc back in, the clutch engages when the pedal is barely off the floor and won't let me shift into any gear even when fully pressed. Sounds like hydraulic problems to me, but I've run out of hydraulic things to try. I did notice that a couple of the pressure plate splines stick out further than the rest. I doubt that is a problem but have run out of things to try. I've done several 900 clutch jobs before and never run into this problem. Any ideas?
