Just replaced the rear brake pads on my 90 900s. the old pads were at about 35% and the rotor did show a few grooves but no warp. after replacing the new pads i drove the car around for a day and then this grinding sound started and it continued to get worse. after a long ride on the freeway with lots of breaking involved the noise seemed to have stopped. is this normal? is it possible the new pads took the pattern of the rotor like the old ones did? no vibration during breaking either. is this jsut a tempory fix, or will the dreaded sound return????
