loose molding on my SPG

The front molding (from the wheel well to the drivers door) on my 89 SPG has pryed loose, and I am barely able to open the door. How does one re install this piece? There looks to be a metal track which the molding slides on to. How do you get the molding back on it? I would appreciate any help, since every time I open the door, the molding on the door is being forced away from the metal.
