Whe they are really bad the noise will usually be worse when you load the bearing, i.e. noise turn right=left bearing. When they are first starting to go the noise may appear when unloaded. so it's tricky.
Also, a bad left bearing can sound like it's coming from the right side while driving from reflected sound. Get a helper to listen while you drive very slowly in circles on an empty parking lot. The rumble will be apparent if the bearing is bad enough. If still stumped go to plan B.
Plan B: You can find out for sure by jacking up the whole front end of the car with the wheels off. Start the car in gear so both hubs spin. If you touch the tip of a big screwdriver to the spindle arm and put the handle to your ear, you will hear the rumble in the bad bearing. Normally one will be quiet and the bad one will sound rough. Both could be bad if neither are "smooth" sounding, but since you hear the noise only when turning right this method should tell you.
