Hi all, If any knows why I am now able to get my shifter out of reverse with the key not in the ignition and why my ignition will now NOT turn at all?
I know that they way the shifter/ignition is set up the key has to be on to get the out of reverse and to get the key out the shifter has to be in reverse. Now I am able to move the shifter without the key in. Also the key will not turn at all, seems like the tumblers are out of whack, it is very hard at times to get key in and out.
Question is: is it easy to replace the ignition switch or is it complicated due to it being in cohoots with the shifter?
Thanks
