but I don't know the exact specifics. Seems to me the US fuel would be easier on the injectors and fuel pump....one of the arguments against low sulfur/no sulfur diesel fuel in this country is the increased wear on injectors and injector pumps that use the natural lubricity of the current fuel.....perhaps the issue is the particulate traps or other emission equipment. Note that VW sells a direct injection diesel in the US>
Still, I think the sulfur WILL be removed from US diesel within two to five years.
