Hope someone can help-- '91 900S went to discount repair shop for battery replacement. After installation the car would crank but not start. As they don't do that sort of diagnostic I got involved with the car still at their shop. There is ignition spark. The injectors are getting a signal and the ground system works. There is + at the fuel pump on cranking and the harness ground works. There is no fuel at the fuel rail. At that point I condemed the fuel pump. The owner requested I use the complete unit as available from SAAB. Made the installation and had the same results. Ran an independant + and - to the pump, it sounds good but still no fuel at the rail (lots of fuel in the tank-no obstructions). The new housing had a covering over the pickup that I took to be a fine screen--looked like it was glued in place--could that have been a cap rather than a filter?--the outlet and return had no caps. I'm at a loss for ideas--help|---do I have 1 problem or 2?--thanks
