'87-93: As comfortable as an old pair of jeans; as classy as a nicely tailored suit. Unlike a MB or 5-/7-Series BMW of the same vintage, it doesn't scream "Look at me, I'm well-to-do!", but it looks quite at home parked between the aforementioned German machines. Its lines are timeless. It performs well. It's fairly easy to repair (DIY). Once you learn where to source your parts, it's not much more expensive to maintain than most other marques. Ten years after the last of its kind (excluding Cvts) left the factory it still turns heads. Yes, it has its share of problems, but in a world full of Accords, Camrys and Taurus' doesn't a little individuality make those problems tolerable? Just my $0.02.

NG900/9-3 never appealed to me except Viggen which is overpriced IMHO. If my next car isn't a '96/97 9K Aero, it probably won't be a Saab.
