I am planning on changing front rotors/pads as well as my leaking Brake Master Cylinder soon ('89 SPG). All seems doable for a novice DIYer. Tried changing rotors/pads earlier, but was unable to losen on of the caliper bolts but m local shop will help me pre-losen those bolt for $10-20ish so I can DIY when i get to it. Is the Master Cyl change as straight forward as it appears- Disconnect everything, unbolt, bolt new one, and reconnect? Also, anything go look out for on changing pads and rotors?
As for flushing and bleeding brake fluid afterwards, what is the best way to accomplish this? Looking at buying eEuroparts brake bleeder (PB100 Brake bleeder $45) or MityVac (tooldesk.com $35) to accomplish this suggestions which is better, Pressure fill/Vacuum Fill? Also, do I just fill new Fluid in and bleed until ???
I don't have Bentley's yet, but am planning on getting one with this job, are there good instruction in it?
TIA
