First off, Hi! I've been lurking for awile, and now I have a question.
I'm going to be driving my 92 900 4dr from Spokane to Portland (about 350 mi) tomorrow. It's been 8 months or so since I drove it anywhere near that far, and I figure I should make sure tire pressure is good (I get a little lazy about it when I drive maybe 100mi/month). I've already checked fluids and all that fun stuff so this is my last check...
Anyway, it's got P195/60r15 goodyears on it now, which I usually keep around 34-35psi. Owners manual says 30psi with 1-3 people and minimal load (that's me), tires have only a max psi of 44psi--no reccomended psi listed on them. Also, I'm looking at slightly nasty weather of rain and 30-40mph wind for half the trip if that makes a difference in terms of inflation to reduce the chances of hydroplaning, etc.
That's the story, now I'm open to any opinions, suggestions, etc.
Thanks,
zag
