I just wanted to post an update on my purchase of my first Saab. It took me 11 years but I finally did it. I purchased a Rose Quartz 1989 Saab 900S. It had 137k miles on it. Options included...Manual moonroof, heated seats and mirrors, Clarion tapedeck, 5 spd.

Things I have done since purchase.
Carwash < ol' anointing of holy water :) >
Armor-all interior.
Sylvania cool blue headlights. <Not blue but alot brighter>
Went to Flikkema Saab, Lansing IL (http://www.saabstory.com) They keep their old trade ins that arent worth anything and use them as parts, I replaced some seat parts ($14.00) since mine were broken. They installed a vacumn hose free of charge, and gave me a non rusted license plate bracket for free. Awesome.

I will need a new radiator eventually he told me as my fins are rusting away and are exposing the tubing. His cost 250. sound ok everybody?

I had the oil changed the other day with synthetic. Runs real nice.

I installed a Cherry bomb glass pack, with 2 1/4 pipe from the cat back. Man it sounds so nice at 2500 rpm. My wife thinks i like it too much.
Its like that old cartoon of the little car that didnt like its body and wanted to be a sports car with a little fox antenna on it, anybody remember that one? it got hit by a train... anyways I love my car. I have some questions, somebody please reply,

Is the shifter linkage adjustable? the knob you pull on to go into reverse keeps me from freely shifting into 5th. i have to slightly pull it up to do that.

Anyway to make the speedo brighter? mines really dim.

I was at walmart and looking for an air filter and they didnt carry anything lol.

Anyone want to email is fine, Titanium_Claw@hotmail.com

Thanks,
