Weird clutch/trans question

When I go out to my car on a cold morning (I know I live in LA!) it is getting hard to get my car, 84 900 Turbo, in gear, then hard to shift into second also. I thought it might be master cylinder, so I tried pumping the clutch many times to work out any air, but it doesnt help. If I let the car warm up in neutral it seems better.
If I let my car sit for a few days, and try it while it is warm outside, it is totaly normal. It seems that time isnt a factor, just temp.
Anyone got any ideas?????? I am stumped.
