further to engine stands, i did a search on Saabnet and there was a post from Roger D with a great idea. don't know if you saw it, but he simply had a bracket made up that attaches to the bosses on the drivers side of the engine. do that search and you'll see his post. i think it's the best idea because you can station the motor a certain distance from the block plate allowing you to work on that end of the motor.
