My 87 900S is dead in the water at 300k. Bad rings. I love the car, so it sits in my yard, I go out and listen to music every once in a while, sunroof open, engine off.
A saint with a free motor sure would be nice. I could have her running again, and give my 95 900S to my girlfriend (who is currently without a car). I'd love to be back in the '87, reliving all my old times (I put 120k on the car since I've had it. She needs a little more TLC, but is a solid ship.
I don't come on the site to beg, but figured it was worth a try. I'd drive to the ends of the earth to pick up an engine to revive my beloved red Saab. I mean jeez, I drove to my high school graduation in that car. It took me and my girlfriend to our first date. Too many memories to list.
So anyway, if you are really looking for a use for it, I'd love to take it off your hands, and maybe we could work up something in return. It'd be awesome if you'd give me a call, email, or even just write back.
If you know what it's like to move from a C900 to an NG900 just because your engine dies, you'd know how I feel.
Help me out, one Saaber to another, huh?
