'90 SPG, Just finished a trip from N. OH to central NC I-77, 530 Mi typical speed of 80 mph on cruise. About half way thru the trip while in the mountains the car started to stumble whenever the manifold vacumn transitioned from vacumn to boost, ie when climbing. The more boost, the worse the stumble. Trailing throttle showed normal vacumn, but it would never get to the normal boost level, and the performance definately wasn't there. Temp never deviated from 1/3. Milage for the trip was normal. From the symptoms I'm assuming a leak in front of the throttle plate, or the plugs are in really bad shape(unlikely). When it cools off enough to work on I plan to check the intake plumbing from the air cleaner to the throttle plate, and the rest just because. Anyone have any other thoughts?
