hi Jeff,
very timely note! i too have the engine out of my 83 900T, and have been ruminating about how to do the bushings and what type to order, not that they needed it, but i've read it's worthwhile doing it at this stage.

anyway, just wondered if you used the rubber or the Urethane bushings, and your rationale for whatever you decided to use. i've read rave reviews re Urethane, but from what i can see, the price is about 10 times rubber. I wonder if they are worth it, especially since mine are rubber and 20 years old and never gave me problems... Also have seen the blue enerflex for $50 a side from Europarts and other Urethane bushings for $17 from Saabsite. Wonder about the difference...

I've been thinking of buying Urethane for the drivers upper and rubber for the rest as i hope not to have the engine out again.
What other work do you have planned on your power plant while it's out? My PS rack needed cleaning, as did the engine compartment. Might get the rad cleaned, and am replacing the turbo and CV axles, inner cups, and maybe some tranny work to guard against pinion failure.
