The engine bay on my '88 SPG is pretty cruddy looking &the paint in there isnt so great, I used some "GUNK" engine degreaser &shop towels and cleaned it up as best as I could, but it still doest look so great, I think the only way to get it looking great is to have the engine pulled out, the bay repainted &engine put back in. Has anyone ever done this? I'm wondering at what the possible cost might be for the engine to be pulled &then re-installed, I know where I can get it painted &for a good price, just curious about the price of an engine pull job.

One more question: Are the 900 Carlson type fender flares still available to buy new from a dealer? (The large plastic fender flares, unlike the smaller ones that came stock on SPGs)I have some on my '88 SPG that were found on a trashed saab in a junk yard. Someone mentioned erebuni has them, but I looked at there site and it didnt list fender flares, just front &rear bumper covers, skirts &spoiler.

Sorry for all the questions, but TSN seems to be the best place to get answers/input anywhere on Saabs!
