two things...
a follow up on my past post on my 1989 saab 900 base that i posted about a month ago or so. it would start and then die despite giving it gas. the codes revealed 12223 - check fuel pressure, which i cannot do. upon being towed to rocky mountain saab near greensburg pa, they diagnosed a faulty fuel pressure regulator and it has been going ok since.
now a quick question about spare parts all the saabers carry in their cars. i was going to compile a small inventory of parts - mostly electonics, so that if faced with another non start situation situation again, i won't be so powerless. besides spare fuses, a tool box, old ignition wires, coolant hoses, i was thinking at least the fuel pump relay, maybe system relay, without getting too crazy. what about ignition coil, lcu control unit, ignition control (ezk), air mass meter.
pretty much i would like to know what are good parts to have in the trunk and or garage for future issues. thanks in advance.
