removing front seats, '88 900 Posted by doug [Email] ![]() ![]() |
I'm looking for the leak I posted earlier. It turns out there's lots of water in the rear seat well. So I do probably need to remove the fron seats to at least dry it out before I find out where the leak is. An update. There is some water in the passenger side (front and back) but there's lots of water in the drivers side (more in the back where it seems to be pooling). It's not: blocked drains (air vent, sunroof, doors), steering column boot (looks good, but I'll spray water there once everything is dry), window seals (they all look like new). There was a "body plug" loose on pasenger side front well because of a dented floor (make sure when someone jacks up car, they use proper jack placement). So..where is it listed in archives how to remove seats. I can't find nut referred to in Bentley manual and bottom rails look like they have to be removed to lift carpet. Thanks.
