My sad 1982 Saab has serious cold starting problems. Tried to fix - ???

Air valve is fine, tested!

Cold Start fuel injector is new!

Warm up regulator was changed by the former owner to a used one, maybe I need a new one. Will ask if still available and about the price...

Called at the morning several Volkswagen workshops, no help there. If there's no Test Plug possibility no chance for me getting the Saab fixed. I'm always told that my car is too old and I need to buy a new one. Most of the workshop guys are wrong understanding at first attempt, meaning that I own a 2002 car. ...strange noise in the phone line, isn't it?

I'll change all the fuel injected related parts and if the Saab isn't running properly again I'll swap the engine to a twin carb version!

I have a hughe experience about tuning, restoring and racing Classic Minis, all with carbs! (And other mainly British cars!) I managed to set up the triple SU HD 8 carbs of my fathers E-Type without that much hassle tuning the sad Saab.
I must recall that I worked the first time ever on a fuel injected car. Never done that before - simply no need for me!

But I'm learning and learning every minute of my life.

Any more suggestions?
