To bad you are that far away, because it is not that difficult to set up the cold start functions on those cars. But it takes knowledge about the different sensors/switches and which one do what.
The thermotime switch in center of cyl head have to be able to ground cold start valve when cold. The coldstart valve need to get a power impulse from starter for some seconds when cranking, and later on a power impulse from vacuum valve (at fuel filter) every time you step on the gas pedal.
The warm up regulator cannot produce a fuel pressure higher than about 20PSI when cold and work its way up to 50-55 PSI when warm. But when testing/adjusting fuel pressure, the warm up regulator have to have the wire harness disconnected and fuel pump relay bypassed with a jumper wire.
If you leave the warmup regulator plugged in, the voltage will instantly start to heat regulator up and bring the fuel pressure up to working pressure.
If warm up regulator is to high in pressure when cold, it's possible to adjust by moving a plug in in regulator housing, but done the wrong way the regulator gets destroyed.
Hope it gets solved
