Spark Plugs

1988 900S

Option 1: NGK BCP6ES - 4 pack of spark plugs for any 86-93(+94 conv) 900 16 non/turbo, 9000 87-89 non/turbo, and 85-93(+94 conv) 900 turbos for hard/city driving, and 86-89 9000 turbo hard/city driving. Saab original NGK.

Option 2: NGK BCP6EV - 1 set of "V" spark plugs for any 86-93 2.0L or 2.1L non/turbo 900 in "City" or "hard driving" conditions. 900 2.3 non/turbo 94-98 all normal driving. "V" offers hotter spark, which provides better starting, cold running in colder temperatures and shorter driving conditions.

1988 SPG

Option 1: NGK BCP7ES - 4-pack of spark plugs for any 85-93(+94 conv) 900 2.0 16v turbo, 86-89 9000 turbo. Also for 86-93 900 non/turbo city/hard driving, and 87-89 9000 non/turbo city/hard driving. Saab original NGK.

Option 2: NGK BCP7EV - 1 set of spark plugs for any 85-93 900T 16v, or 86-89 9000 turbo. For "hard driving" and cold temperature starting. Saab original NGK.

Pepboys website lists that they have NGK's.

Ball Joints
The job sucks. Search the old posts on here and you'll see the frustration people have with them. Where do you live? I've hear of west coast (rust free) cars being a breeze. If you're in a rust state, prepare for the worst. You'll have years of rust seizing the parts in place.

LH system.
Carefully read the post above. What AMM do you have on it? It looked like the 88 turbo/nonturbo may have different LH systems. Is there a connector under the back seat? I have a permanent reader switch attached there and routed it up to my shifter accordian do-dad (1990 SPG).
