I tried to follow the exact piont where you made the cut, but came up blank. However, if you know where the A frame brackets break most often, that's the area you need be concerned. My experience with that bracket breaking is the rearward stay at the bushing housing. It happened while braking in reverse in a parking lot going no more than 6 mph! That's obviously a high stress point for any A frame design - all the forward and rear movements during acceleration and braking are absorbed at those points.
