I have a '94, which is last year of classic body style. I have a few words of advice:
1. Do not purchase an automatic as the transmissions are poor and will need to be replaced. ($2500)
2. Determine if the car you purchase needs new headgasket,or has it been done recently, if not, repair is imminent. ($800-$1100, depending on need for machined head)
3. Determine if power steering rack is leaking, if not, one will be needed soon. ($500-$700)
These are the three major repairs on any high mileage 900 car of that vintage. Of course, there could be a myriad of minor problems too. Be very careful of the car you select, and factor in these repairs if they have not been done. Other than that, the body style is great and the car holds the road well. But it is not an economical choice. Good luck.
