My mechanic has quoted me a price of $370 for the part plus labor to replace the master switch relay for the power windows and the sunroof. I already paid him $72.50 to clean the old switch at which time he told me that it looked pretty burnt up and told me he couldn't guarenty the repair would stick. Of course it lasted a week and now the roof won't open. So is this a part that a novice can replace easily? Is there a guidebook that someone could recomend to walk me through the repair? and Finally is there a good reliable source for this kind of part? Your help would be greatly appreciated. After 106,000 miles I've now had to stick $2,000 in the Saab over the past two months and I really would like to cut this bill in half if I could. (Replaced ignition lock, switch and gear for the second time, new starter, bypass heater valve, auxilary fan all within 2 weeks)
