no,i think what you see is where the leak ends.check the two water hoses comming out of the head at the thermostat and that area.also,the temp sender is near there too,it could leak..there is no place for coolant to leak behind the flywheel unless its coming from above.you can have the coolant checked,tested. a good shop should be able to test the coolant to see whats in it.this test will tell you if the head gaskets gone.i think it tells you if theres any carbon in the coolant.should be none.is there any oil floating in the coolant tank?does your engine oil look like chocolate milk.thats a goodsign of a bad head gasket.
