Ball joints possible?

I'll need to replace the tires in about 5000 anyway. I'll check then. The wear looks mostly even, with the back tires showing more wear on the outside 1/4 of tread (was probably rotated from front before I purchased 20K ago). Front seems to be pretty even except outside edge (tend to take corners a bit quicker than recommended).
If ball joints, etc, could they show problems at specific speeds like this, regardless of tire balance?
Thanks,
Brian
