Went yesterday to a workshop, was stranded pretty far from home away in Vienna, Austria, Europe.
There the fuel metering distributor was changed (very, very costly) and all of the fuel system were tested. The pressure seems to be good, only the injectors need to be renewed. Spraying unevenly, but all of them the same amount of fuel. So I'm able to drive home to Luxembourg...
The pressure regulator seems to be fine, I was told.
Funny but true: I went to a Volkswagen Workshop, much of the injection system is the same as in the Volkswagen Golf, Scirocco and Jetta. The guy there is very polite and he's knowing nearly all about the K-Jetronic. A lot of the Vienna Saabs were there maintained...
He owns a Sonnet and a Monte Carlo in nearly as new condition.
Thank you for your support. Saab is now feeling a bit more cosy in my heart.
