Master is very easy, slave is much more involved...

but your problem sounds like the slave. You can try the master first, but if you're losing fluid and the master is dry, then you're better off doing the slave and the entire clutch (don't forget the pilot bearing in the flywheel while you're down there). To rebuild the master (while it's in the car), disconnect the clutch pedal from the master and pull back the rubber boot to expose the circlip. Put lots of paper towels, newspaper etc... on the floor to catch the fluid and I mean lots. Then, go to the reservoir and disconnect that hose at the reservoir and not at the master cyl.. Here, you should also use some means to catch the fluid. Use some compressed air or a bike pump to pressurize the hose (not too much pressure). Replace hose and look in the interior and you should see the "guts" of the master cyl on the floor. Replace the seals (with new ones of course) in the correct order that you remove them and re-insert the master cyl "guts". Re-attach everything and bleed the clutch. The slave can only be rebuilt while it's out. BTW, check that the bleed nipple on the slave isn't loose. It probably isn't, but just trying to save you some work and it doesn't hurt to check.
