As my headliner is starting to go (after 11 years!), I've been looking into different materials...
Now, I'm not necessarily looking for approval here, but has anyone used pooltable felt for thier headliner? It seems to be available in 62" wide by 8-9' peices on the 'net for a reasonable cost, and in a myriad of colors.
I rember a picture where somebody had done their headliner in a black, or dark grey felt... I would think that a heavy (21oz) felt would be thick enough to cover any texture in the headliner tray, and might dampen noise as well.
I'm currently just removing bits and pieces as they delaminate (c-pillar first). I suffered the mistake of making a slit so as to spray in some 3M adhesive, and all that nasty brown decomposed foam just came out all over. EEEW. I'm really not going for the rally look (i.e. no interior trim), but I'll just have to live with it for a little while)
