The best I can tell you, and you will see when you strip the headliner material, is the prep work to re-cover is kinda a pain, but well worth a smooth result. Do you have a sunroof? Hatchback? The foam sometimes can be patchy, and difficult to remove. I used a wire brush and small shopvac to remove the foam that is stuck on. It is a messy job, but best be done without solvents, I have found the shell could have some weak spots, esp. in the thin spots/corners. Try to avoid a metal flat blade, it can dig into the headliner. Once you remove all the screws and moulding around the doors, rear hatch, any other mouldings, slowly work out the shell. Two people are the best. The two rear pillars are seperate from the main shell. It isn't too bad of a job, just try to get the shell smooth for maximum bond, start from one end to the other. Work fabric out from the center, and make sure you cover the shell as evenly as possible, that was my mistake with the 77. The 90 is more aggressive. One more thing-a big clean workspace is helpful. Watch for overspray, it can leave boogers that are hard to remove. I found it best to sray in one area and cover in another.
Good luck and have you picked a color?
Kevin
