Again, that varies. I can say conclusively that I can't say conclusively.
I know that the '88 9000T came with an 80 amp. The 115 fits just fine. I'm pretty sure that by '92, the base models still had the 80 amp, but the S and Turbos had 115 amps(power seats, fog lights, rear door fans, etc.)
All I can say is that if I were putting an alternator into a 9000, I wouldn't care what was in there, and would put in a 115.
