On August 2, I had a post about my turbo needle not moving. I appreciate all the feedback. It was a relatively easy fix as suggested by Saabnet member. Unfortunately... I was looking in the wrong place. When they were referring to the three ports on the manifold, I was actually looking at the front, where there were three inlets, two with hoses. I replaced both the existing hoses (hard), however the gauge did not move. After about a week of pondering, I looked at the engine area again and re-read my feedback. After looking closely at what one had to say... I realized I needed to look at the three-inlet nipple to the back; sure enough, the hose coming from the firewall was off. Problem Solved.
BTW… What is that third port on the front of the manifold for? It currently has a small cap on it. Does not look there was a hose on it anytime recent.
