1988 900 Turbo CVT - Leaking fluid ?

I recently acquired a 1988 Saab 900 CVT. When I inspected it for purchase, one and half months ago, the car was completely dry underneath. I have also been paranoid about leaking vehicles ever since a traumatic event occured. That horrible event was many years ago when my wife's (then girlfriend) father ripped my an new A-hole for letting my previous Saab (89 900S) leak oil all over his newly surfaced and sealed driveway. Ever since that day, I have just about made it as routine as brushing my teeth, that I look under my cars. Even after I bought the 88 SAAB CVT, and convinced it was drip free, I still checked regularly. To my surprise, I have noticed one spot, about an inch in diameter, right under the engine. If I look underneath, I see that it's dropping from a spot on the engine which has a circular cap of some sort, actual it looks as though there are two circular caps, almost the size similar to a quarter. Would say it is in the area directly below the oil filter (if looking from top down). Fluid appeared to be oil. I had an oil change about two weeks and was told everything looked good underneath except for a pinhole in my exhaust pipe. Would anyone be able to help identify where this could be leaking from and how serious this may be? My experience with engine leaks is not good, very costly.
