Ok this is after a long rebuild process... got a 2.3 head w/ cams from machine shop in MA. Head came with gasket set and a .03 (not sure of decimal point) metal spacer from what they had machined off. Installed everything but i was waiting on my flywheel (getting lightened) so i was really careful to get the cam timing right. So fast forward a bit... engine is all together, go to start it, ... nothing, wont turn over at all.. when i installed the clutch i know i could turn the flywheel with a screw driver so i know it wasnt seized or anything. So turn it to TDC on flywheel using a big screwdriver take off the valve cover and sure enough it looks as though the cams are off 180 degrees.. ug. I remove them and place them and align the the cams back on the maks (now the arrow on the cam cap pointsto the mark on the cam correct? so its angled a bit? I put every thing back together.. try to turn it over.. it spins a bit and THWAP... flywheel wont move anymor in that direction. so I pull the valve cover off again.. i see the valves are al the way down on clyinder 2. pull the plugs to look at the piston.. it doesnt look TOO high.. so i dunno. what do you guys think??

To confuse things more. The head I got was a 2.3 from a 92 9000. I recieved 2 cams with it. but the exhaust cam already had a notch in it?? so maybe igot a 900 cam (which would be fine, i just want to know what cams i really have?

So does anybody have any cam info pages.. I pulled these numbers off the cam.

Intake : Stamped 5210-11 9148016 then kinda scratched in: 756146
Exhaust: Stamped 756096 no long number I could find

Thanks in advance!!!
