I have a 1992 Saab 900s Conv. The seat is splitting at the seam. One side is so bad I have been told that the leather has shrunk and if they sow it back, it will split the moment someone sits on it. A local trip shop has offered to trip the entire rear seat in vinyl for $300. I was wondering if it is possible to use the seat bottom from a hatchback or sedan model as a replacement for mine. The seat back is dirty but in good condition.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Regards
A
