Drew,
I had that problem once. If my memory serves me correctly, you can loosen the bolts around the turbo (you will see them--there are about 7 or 8) this will allow you to rotate and position the pipe so it will fit. Also, be very careful when you position the pipe into the block. There is a rubber seal that goes over the pipe to seal it. If this seal is not positioned incorrectly or broken, you will have a leak under pressure. I got my seals from Home Depot. They worked very well. I found it easier to loosen or remove the two bolts that secures the pipe to the turbo and place the pipe into the block first so you can seat it correctly and tighten the two bolts that secures the pipe to the turbo and the remaining seven or eight bolts to the turbo.
